We do have Indian blood on both sides of the family, but it's been hard to research. Learning about the politics and beliefs of these tribal leaders has been very eye-opening, for sure. As you might imagine, NONE OF THIS was taught in public schools here (which I really find odd, in one way, but with so many tribes here, I suppose a teacher could get into hot water just by presenting the facts).
