Questions

I will resume Colorado's journey to statehood in the next post. This post is about a question.

It seems the blog is narrowing to just one or two people posting, except for big events. Is this still a viable option? Yes, people are visiting the site, but there is little or no interaction.

For me, the research I share is something that is important to me. My thoughts are that history is important.

If it is decided that this blog is worth continuing, would anyone be interested (especially new members) in being interviewed for this site?

Until next time

Stay safe - Doris

  1. I swear, Blogspot is just making it harder and harder to post a comment any way except as "anonymous!"

I agree that our writers seem to be dwindling fiercely! I, for one, would be happy to be interviewed and happy to help out if you can figure a way to reinterest our former post-ers in posting again!

  2. Hey, I just noticed my "On This Day" post for April never got published and has vanished! Anybody know how I can back-date a post so I can correct that?

    1. Just go ahead and repost on the blogger.com site and publish it later this week. I don't think anyone is scheduled in that timeframe. Doris

  3. Thank you for your good and hard work, Doris. Even though many of us seldom respond, I'm sure that everyone is grateful to you. And like many other members of this family, I'd be happy to talk with you. All my best, John Porter

  4. Thank you, Doris. Sometimes people read, but don't have time to comment. If you touch one person, then you're a success!

  7. I'm with the majority, Doris. I like your posts (and the stuff you post on Facebook) but am frequently too rushed to comment. And likewise, too busy to ever remember to post here. I'm not sure if the blog is worth continuing, because it does seem to get less and less participation. I wonder if it would make sense to just post in the group (even the longer posts). Seems like most people read those messages, even if they don't get over to the blog.

    2. Jeff, I like your honesty. I do admit, the numbers are steady for those who click on the blog. That is a plus. I will be following up on the possibility of interviews again. I enjoyed it before life got in the way. (Sigh) Doris

  8. Writing a regular blog post is a lot of work, for sure. And, I admit that during tax season I don't have much time to read anything not IRS related. Since I joined just before this most recent season, I haven't had time to read your posts. That said, now that I've discovered that yellow-orange blob in the sky again, I am indeed interested in reading your posts regularly.

I, too, am available for an interview if you're interested.

Thank you again for your hard work.
