WISHING YOU A WONDERFUL DAY

The men who were stationed at the signal station on Pikes Peak, at 14,115 feet, sent the following telegraphed message on Christmas Eve, 1873, in the first year of operation:

"A Merry Christmas to everybody"

And for those who can't be home, much like the wanderers and travelers in the Old West, I leave you the link to this video:

    1. Kaye, it was pleasantly quite and dinner with friends. Of courese that was perfect for I worked the week between Christmas and New Years. (I enjoy working then, for I don't have to deal with the rest of the staff- not that I don't like them, I just enjoy the semi-alone time. *Smile*)

I hope you had a great day and wishing you an even better 2019. Doris
