Charlie, you need to do some more of these songs! I really enjoyed this. I've not gotten Fire Canoe Finnegan yet, but it sure looks good and I'm looking forward to someday being able to take a "reading vacation" (sort of a busman's holiday for me) and read some books by friends. Congratulations! And let's hear some more singing!
ReplyDeleteCharlie, that is excellent. I enjoyed your singing before and I enjoyed the video all over again. You are a man of many parts and many talents.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Fire Canoe Finnigan.
Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteSome time and expense went into the video. I am glad you like it. It is very kind of you to take the time to post this on the WESTERN FICTIONEERS BLOG.
Keith,
ReplyDeleteIt is always a pleasure to see your smiling face and to read your comments. Thank you very much.
What a great rendition of one of my favorite songs. Thank you. Best to you and please sing more of these classic pieces of music. Also good luck on the story. Doris McCraw/Angela Raines
ReplyDeleteDoris,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much.
Nice encore Charlie, I enjoyed just as much as the first time. I really like how you showed some creatures of the wild. burros, horses, antelope, buffalo. All what we expect on the prairie. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteJerry
Jerry,
ReplyDeleteIt's good to have friends such as you, Jerry. It was kind of Cheryl to post this and for you to comment Thanks. I just hope it does its job and sells a few books.
Charlie, who knew you could sing? And with such heart!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fabulous job with the video, my friend. The scenery, the song's words, your voice, the background music... Everything worked together to evoke an Old West mood. Bravo!
I wish you much success with Fire Canoe Finnegan. I know that book is close to your heart. :-)
Kathleen,
ReplyDeleteThank you. I hoped someone would like it. All of us are trying ways to promote books. I hope this video has some positive affect.
Multi-talented, obviously. Great guitar. Great singing. Great video. When do we get the blog on your dancing?
ReplyDeleteMr. Tom,
DeleteHa, ha! Glad to read your comment old friend. Not dancing today...
Great job, Charlie! Love your title. Keep singing, too!
ReplyDeleteMeg,
