Peacemaker Awards Reminder
Submissions are still open for this year's Peacemaker Awards. If you've written Western fiction published this year, no matter what the length, whether traditionally published, small press, or self-published, there's a place for it in the Peacemaker Awards competition. You can find all the details here, and if you have any questions feel free to email me. The address is on that page as well. Avoid that last minute rush! Submit your stories and novels now! (This offer void where prohibited, which is, uh, nowhere. Send 'em in!)

Yes, please get them in so the judges (I'm one) can give your story(ies) full and proper consideration. There's no need to wait because being the last story in doesn't mean it will be fresher in the judges' minds. And to take James' (this offer is void) line one step further, in the case of a tie (in other words, if I like two stories equally), the earliest received will be the one I choose to nominate.

Of course we also have to take into account that stories and novels published in December can't be submitted until then and shouldn't be discriminated against because of that. If something's already out, though, no reason to wait until the last minute to submit.
ReplyDeleteJames, I will most likely have one that will be released in December.

Here is to another great year of stories. Of course I am enjoying the comments. Doris
ReplyDeleteI have a completed manuscript, that I am submitting to publishers. Does this qualify? I am a published author of three other novels.
ReplyDeleteNo, the book has to have been published in 2013, not out to market now.
